Angela Panayiotou is an accomplished Business & Startup Advisor, recognised for her extensive experience in entrepreneurship, investment, and strategic innovation across Europe and the Middle East. She advises startups, SMEs, and high-net-worth individuals on business development, transformation, and profitability — helping them turn ideas into sustainable ventures. At the same time, she is working with various universities towards this mission. 

With a career spanning senior roles in the financial sector and leadership positions in innovation ecosystems, Angela served as Manager of the Bank of Cyprus Innovation & Entrepreneurship Centre, overseeing landmark initiatives such as the IDEA Innovation Centre – Bank of Cyprus, the Business Academy for SMEs, and the ARIS Incubator. Her work empowered hundreds of entrepreneurs, established public–private partnerships, and positioned Cyprus on the European map for innovation.

Today, as Advisor to the renowned Monaco-UK based entrepreneur John Christodoulou and the Yianis Christodoulou Foundationand Member of the Board of Directors of Invest Cyprus, she continues to bridge business, investment, and impact — designing strategies that foster growth, inclusivity, and sustainable entrepreneurship. Her focus areas include startup acceleration, digital transformation, strategic communication, and investment facilitation.

Angela is also an international speaker and mentor, having represented Cyprus in the USA, India, Greece, and the Middle East, and has been honoured with multiple awards, including the Madame Figaro Woman of the Year Award (Businesswoman-Professional) and the European Commission’s Enterprise Promotion Award (EEPA) for excellence in entrepreneurship promotion.
